Acne treatment with the Fotona ND:Yag laser
Acne occurs when the pores of the skin are blocked by fat, dead skin or bacteria. Each pore of the skin gives access to a follicle which consists of a hair and a sebaceous gland. This gland releases sebum (a fatty substance) which rises along the hair to come out of the pore and settle on the skin.
